A quick break from the usual programming of doom and gloom.

2020 has been a lot. But despite all the terrible things that have happened, there have actually been a few good things that happened in the UK this year, so lets take a look at them.

When the government refused to fund free school meals over half-term, Marcus Rashford called for us to all work together against child food poverty, and it led to some much-needed community spirit all over the country:

It’s been a while, so let me refresh you: during the first lockdown, amid a load of fake news, a hilarious voice note claiming that the government was making a lasagne the size of Wembley Stadium went viral on Whatsapp, giving us all a much-needed laugh.
